I’M NIKKI
I’m a UX/UI designer with a background in hospitality and art. I care deeply about creating experiences that feel effortless, human, and thoughtfully crafted. I believe great design should make life easier, feel intuitive, and leave a lasting impact (bonus points if it's beautiful).
my path to ux
Before design, I spent years in the service industry. I got my start in restaurants, where I developed skills I still rely on today — communication, problem-solving, empathy, teamwork, and staying calm under pressure. Later, as a licensed massage therapist running my own business, I learned how to translate empathy in to meaningful, human-centered experiences.
skills & strengths
My strengths lie in UI and visual design, with a focus on mobile-first experiences, scalable design systems, and component libraries. My goal is to create cohesive, intuitive interfaces that elevate both the user experience and the brand behind it. I bring an organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented mindset to every project.
